I can't believe pitchers are still putting balls anywhere close to the strike zone when Judge comes to the plate. What, are they scared of Jazz Chisholm or something?
Dick - exactly. Forget June, though. If they are in 1st Place and up by 7 games or more at the beginning of September, I might crack a grin. For now, it's the doghouse for them.
Former Yankees infielder Kevin Smith posted online Saturday that Aaron Leanhardt, a former Yankees front-office staffer who now works for the Miami Marlins, developed the torpedo barrel to bring more mass to a bat's sweet spot.
Also... Trevor McGill is whiny bitch..the torpedo bat doesn't make you forget the fast balls changeups and cutters thrown down the middle of the fuckin plate is not a good idea

ReplyDeleteThe best thing: not having to wait month before Judge gets going.
ReplyDeleteHe may still disappear — but, perhaps, maybe, fatherhood is a good thing for little Aaron.
DeleteProbably the first time in 25 years he's been referred to as "little Aaron".
DeleteThe line we will recall in high summer is "Can we play the Brewers every day?" Happy March, people.
