WFH today, so I had this mess on in the background. Skubal is definitely an ace, but note he had been hittable his last 2 starts. No, the same old issue - terrible approach by the team’s hitters, compounded by lethargy and a seeming desire to get out of the cold. Also the team’s power evaporates away from their comfy little homer pad.
Carrasco is washed, Warren is not MLB material, and the mostly mediocre Schmidt can’t cover both spots. Again, crashman has not built enough depth into the roster…he never does, while the trump lovin’ nepo baby sonofawhore owner cries poverty
May be we can steal a game tomorrow behind Fried if the offense can man up and score 3 or 4 runs.
