Michael Kay seems to me to be the kind of guy who says he’s just some ordinary schmo but who obviously loves the smell of his own farts & absolutely expects you to, as well.
Awesome pitching, stagnant inept offense. Kikuchi always tough on Yanks. Tip o’ the cap to Leiter as the WW boys get the night off and an off day tomorrow.
Yes, AA, another 1-0 game. Not the Yankee way, but winning is winning!
This constant winning is confusing. Especially these close, low-scoring games. How is it possible? Has someone put a sedative in Boone's bubble gum? Are our pitchers using performance enhancing drugs, like, you know, caffeine or antihistamine or Fletcher's Castoria?
As a Swedish boss of mine used to say, it's mind-gobbling.
It's also still May, JM, as well as mind-gobbling,. Let's see how they hold up for the end of the marathon we call the baseball season. that's when mettle is truly tested. and when metal is tasted, and sputum is wasted.

But…..But….But is it the game thread?
ReplyDeleteEntirely up to the commentariat, as I repair to the lair and repose in the supine pose.
DeleteSlow night - it’s as if these games are on the west coast or something
ReplyDeleteMost of my energies have been consumed by the Knicks, but that isn’t likely to be an issue for much longer.
ReplyDeleteYes - that will fade shortly
Delete“YEAH, I DID THE RIGHT THING……I WALKED JUDGE!!!”
ReplyDeleteMichael Kay is something of a hater

ReplyDeleteAnd for what it’s worth, Paul O’Neil strikes me as the guy who shoved non-athletic kids into lockers when he was in high school.
ReplyDeleteAnd - what’s your opinion of Skipper Boone, H.H. ?
DeleteProfessional Idiot.
ReplyDeleteWith an advanced degree in bullpen incompetence & lineup malpractice.
ReplyDeletePerfectly defined
DeleteRufus may have taken his sleepers
ReplyDeleteThis game is a bit of a sleeper…
ReplyDeleteGreat point
DeleteThat 1-0 lead isn’t gonna hold up…
ReplyDeleteBut if it does- what’s that gonna mean?
ReplyDeleteSo silent
ReplyDeleteNo comment until the time limit is up!

DeleteI don't expect continuation, Bit. After last year, how could I?
DeleteI know I join many here who are confounded by these wins- especially ONE- RUN wins. Last year ( was it last year?) this would never have happened…..
ReplyDeleteWhere the fuck did this thread this come from!?
