I saw that Shewmake kid who just hit the home run for Houston last week in Syracuse. He was playing with Scranton-Wilkes Barre. Apparently the Yanks traded him to Houston a couple days ago. … My buddy and me were joking that his family was so poor, they had to sell the “r” from his surname to survive. Now that he’s in the majors, he can probably afford to buy it back and be “Shewmaker” again.
