I'm so proud of you all! I wish I could have joined you for the protest!
Alas, I'm pinned down at my desk triaging the violence of the Trump administration's assault the American people. My food pantry is exploding with people getting cut off of SNAP benefits (worse now than during the federal shutdown). My teen center is teeming with hungry, angry, disempowered youth. And my adult programming (workforce development, mental health) is full of terrified people facing potential homelessness.
But I celebrate you taking a free swing at that Trump supporting nepo-baby. The best thing that could happen for the Yankees is for Hal to go.
He may be a billionaire like his daddy. But he proves that talent skips a generation. He has all of his daddy's worst politics and none of his instincts for winning.
Wish I could have been there. But thank you for holding court in the judge's chambers! I hope to join you someday soon!
