  1. I'll drink a Schlitz beer to that thought.

  2. You remember their marketing slogan, right? "Drinking Schlitz will give you the shits." Have some on your birthday tomorrow!

  3. When you're out of bud, tough schlitz.

  4. Just before this game started, I was thinking how the Yanks no longer score runs in the 1st inning. Finally busted out tonite.

  5. Like I've said before, I'd keep Spencer Jones. If there is a next year, Jones should be the CF. Really don't care if he strikes out 250 times. Still better than Grisham.

  6. Yeah, I like Spencer Jones. Almost killed the pitcher with a liner, just missed the guy's head.

  7. I think both Jones & Dominguez are already better players than Grisham. But as soon as we get the walking wounded back, Jones will sit. Then Dominguez will sit because Cashman will get some 29 yr old former 1st round draft pick outfielder that plays average defense and hits .180.

  8. The Name That Yankee is simpler than an 8…

    ReplyDelete
  9. Wells actually made a productive out, moved the runner to third.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Grisham is coming back down to earth, ain't he?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Failure to add on. Every run is an in-shurance run. Would be good to get as many runs as possible tonite, with Bednar probably unavailable.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Boone, once again a batter too late.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I would've taken him out when he walked Murakami.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Cruz escapes! Yankee bullpen has been pitching better and better as this season went on.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Don't you get the feeling that the Yankees will need more than 4 runs to win this game? That happens, when you score 4 in the 1st inning and then can't add on, despite having runners in scoring position.

  16. White Sox playing better defense, pitching better now. You can almost feel the momentum shifting.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Meidroth is really becoming a pain in the ass. Those runs the Yankees failed to score are starting to look mighty big.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Wow that was quick. There goes Cam's W.

    ReplyDelete
  19. White Sox are another of those teams that have big time scoring. You can't stop scoring runs if you want to beat these guys. There is no lead big enough to be safe.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Blackburn turned out to be the wrong guy out of the pen. Soft throwing lefty might have been a lot better idea. If they lose this one, this'll be one of those that really piss you off.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Blackburn again for the 9th? Boone really wants to lose this one, eh?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Playing extras tonite. Yanks only 1-7 in extra frames. That's not small sample size. To have that bad a record in 8 games. You gotta be doing something wrong. A lot of it is fucking Boone.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Of course, Battlin' Bronx Bastards didn't score in the 10th. Here comes the loss....

    ReplyDelete
  24. Joe and Michael just pointed out how much of an idiot Boone is by the switches he made for the bottom of the 1Oth

    ReplyDelete
  25. Whole new meaning to throwing the game…

    ReplyDelete
  26. Don’t know how we got out of that mess…

    ReplyDelete
  27. Not exactly facing the best pitching staff in baseball to-nite. Yet never scored from the 2nd inning through the 10th inning. And the 10th inning, they even had the ghost runner to start the inning. Fucking pathetic.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Holy shit, Camilo Doval! Boone really wants to lose this one! I think Yarbrough is the much better bet.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Boone MUST have money on the White Sox tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Two bullets dodged! One more out needed! And it's fucking Benintendi.

    ReplyDelete
  31. You can’t make this shit up. Unbelievable.

    ReplyDelete
  32. It's better to lose a game 100-0 than to lose a game like this

    ReplyDelete
  33. You’ve got to be freakin’ kidding me.

    ReplyDelete
  34. And the Battlin' Bronx Bastards live to see the fucking 12th inning!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Finally, a hit with a man in scoring position. but of course, he doesn't score, held at 3rd base.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Shame that we have to hit Schuermann in such a crucial AB

    ReplyDelete
  37. The only thing Grisham does well is take his walks

    ReplyDelete
  38. Why Schuermann drop a bunt? Now watch Ricse k

    ReplyDelete
  39. As predictable as the sunrise.

    ReplyDelete
  40. What a fucking shit show. Fucking Ba-Boone strikes again with ridiculous substitutions. What the fuck?

    ReplyDelete
  41. The crying Yankee fan child at the end of the broadcast was perfect

    ReplyDelete
  42. The Sox ended it efficiently and quickly. That’s beyond anything the Yankees can do, with their AAA bench and awful hitting approach.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Not the outcome ecerybody thought. He was great. Heartburn gave it up and the pathetic offense left runners on.
