Incredible pablum from the Cash-man. "Oh, everybody goes through slumps like this?"
No, they don't. Especially winning Yankees teams. How many franchise records for futility have they already set this year? Plus a couple all-time, major-league records?
Why the fuck does this team continue to run themselves into outs? They only score by hitting home runs. Only their best base stealers should run, and then only when prudent. STOP RUNNING INTO OUTS, GODDAMMIT!!!
"The Yankee relievers look like white elephants," she said. "I've never seen one," the man drank his beer. "No, you wouldn't have." "I might have," the man said. "Just because you say I wouldn't have doesn't prove anything."
Yeah, this team shouldn't even bother trying to steal bases. The chances of them getting a single with a man in scoring position is microscopically small. But the chance of one of these bastards hitting a home run? Now that, we can measure.

DeleteWell struck.
Happy Friday to you
In this dirty old part of the city
DeleteWhere the sun refused to shine
People tell me there ain't no use in tryin'
Now my girl you're so young and pretty
DeleteAnd one thing I know is true
You'll be dead before your time is due

He was also putting himself to sleep during the interview.

DeleteQuestion for tha ANALyticallists:
ReplyDeleteIf you're supposed to be trying to see a lot of pitches, why does no one fking WALK!
Eight. Ks, ZERO WALKS!
Busy night here tonight.
ReplyDeleteVoting Is now open for player of the game.
ReplyDeleteI choose hOg for insightful insights into the inner workings of the insides of the Yankees organization.
I vote for Tim Hill.
ReplyDeleteThe search for the most ineffective reliever has worked out splendidly tonite.
ReplyDeleteNow let's see if the Battlin' Bronx Bastards can come back against the worst bullpen in baseball.
ReplyDeleteMaster Beeter is out to try to close it out!
ReplyDeleteThrew that fastball right past the aging Goldschmidt
ReplyDeleteMaster Beeter wins the battle against our resident old man.
ReplyDeleteAin't it amazing how much better prospects get when they get traded away from the Yankees? I wonder why?
Delete“Would you please please please please please please please stop Tim Hill pitching?”

There once was a crooked man....
ReplyDeleteJism Chasm with his biggest moment of the year!
ReplyDeleteJasson Dominguez didn't try to steal: smart. (Pointing at head) Now that's smart!
ReplyDeleteJust got home…they’re actually winning…
ReplyDeleteGnats should've kept Master Beeter in the game. I thought he was their closer. Not sure why he didn't pitch the 9th.
ReplyDeleteThat bastard Austin Wells makes up for one one millionth of his incompetence.
ReplyDeleteWells?
ReplyDeleteVolpe got a hit. Now watch him get thrown out trying to steal. Against a pitcher who can't even get Austin Wells out.
ReplyDeleteAm I mistaken, or are all of the Yankee runs tonite scored on home runs?
ReplyDeleteNo you’re not…
DeleteSomehow this trio of below average hitters have put together a rally.
ReplyDeleteYeah, this team shouldn't even bother trying to steal bases. The chances of them getting a single with a man in scoring position is microscopically small. But the chance of one of these bastards hitting a home run? Now that, we can measure.
ReplyDeleteYankees Win!!!
ReplyDeleteHey, the Battlin' Bronx Bastards can fight back!
ReplyDeleteNo. They can't, Hammer. they are terrible.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the Gnats have the worst bullpen in baseball, for shure.
