OPEN LETTER TO BRIAN CASHMAN: Joe Does Not Have Enough Arms

How can anybody expect Joe Torre to win a pennant with only 13 pitchers on the 25-man roster? It's ridiculous.

Count them: Andy. Rocket. Wang. Mariano. Moose. Iggy. Ramirez. Bruney. Farnsworth. Vizciano. Proctor. Myers. Villone. That's only 13!

To navigate the Yankee clipper ship, Joe needs at least three more arms.

Replace Miggy, Kevin Thompson & Wil Nieves with pitchers.
That’ll give us 16, six more than other MLB teams. We'll have a starting nine, and Puppet Master Joe can work his batter-to-batter magic spells from the dugout.

What you waiting for? ARM THE BOMBERS.

    Also: more catchers. There's no reason to make Nieves catch every Mussina start when he could DH in half of those games. You don't want to wear him out by mid-August, just when the pennant race is starting to heat up.
