Yankee Slang for Senator Craig's Lewd Act

Senator Larry Craig of Idaho has pleaded guilty to lewd conduct in an airport restroom. A plainclothes cop claims Craig was seeking to initiate a romantic tryst by suggestively groping with his feet and hands beneath the stall.

In Yankee terms, he would be accused of...

"Seeking a bridge to Mariano."

"Being Bruney and nibbling at the corners."

"Trying to straighten out Moose."

"Getting more playing time for Melky."

"Taking some pressure off of Mister Torre."

  1. If it were a basketball foul, it would be called :

    1. A reach-around

    2. A reach under

    3. A clamoring.

  2. What's wrong with what Senator Craig did ? , is it any worse than George Steinbrenner looking in the Yankee showers ?
