If so, we are in deep... wait a minute!

  1. Tommy John surgery is 16-18 months of rehab, and we're talking 2 years for removal of a grotesque bunion?

I get that it's grotesque, but still, 2 years on the shelf seems long.

  2. If you ever saw my grotesque bunion, you would not speak so flippantly.

  3. He still has the bunion. Grotesque as it may well be ( no beach vollyball for el Duque ). Babes will run away in horror.

Surgery was for some structural problem in toe, causing removal of some portion of toe.

So he is toe short and bunion long, as he readies for the Mets.

Our own El Duque, of course, has no such grotesque issues .....

  5. Hmmm. Kinda makes me think over all those bunion jokes I've told over the years.

God. How could I have been so thoughtless? How?

  6. Fidel Castro's retirement is by far the slowest CIA plot to depose a national ruler.

  7. People have flooded the streets of south Florida to celebrate. Oh wait; they're shopping.
