  2. Did you call me a hottie? Because that just made my flippin' day.

  3. Was gonna say "vixen," but it would have sounded 1950ish.

  4. You described our site as "laugh-out-loud Yankees-related posts and videos" in your "favorite links" area. The least we could do was call you a hottie.

Oh, and if they ever DO make a movie from your upcoming book, can we have cameo roles? I could get a crewcut and start smoking and play Hank Steinbrenner!

  5. You can definitely have a cameo. But what I'd really like to have is the voice - the one that did the narration in the Richie Sexson and Carl Pavano videos. I can just hear it narrating over the credits...."This is the story of Jane Heller, a Yankee fan who almost threw away a perfectly good husband to run off with A-Rod." Yeah, that'll work.

  6. We gotta cast the actors for your movie. (That's right, we're greenlighting it.)

I'm seeing Jack Black as Joba.

Bummer that Slim Pickens is dead. He'd play Hank.

  7. Jack Black would be excellent as Joba in the scene where he's being attacked by Lake Erie midges and I have to be restrained from running onto the field in Cleveland.

  8. Who plays Girardi? Javier Bardem?

    Jim Carrey as Pavano?

  9. Javier the Heartthrob Bardem for Girardi? No way. I'm seeing Ben Stiller. As for Pavano, he's not allowed in the movie.

  10. Paul Rudd as Pavano, the wise-cracking slacker, whose nights on the town with Jason Giambi (Seth Rogen) are filled with golden thong hilarity.

  11. Good casting. Maybe Javier could play Abreu. Oh, that smile.

  12. OK, think this:

    Heath Ledger as Farnsworth!
