Excitement Building as Boston Feels Big Pappi Getting Near First HR


FRANCONA: Any minute now. You can feel it in the air.

YOUK: He's got to hit one soon.

FRANCONA: Of course, he will. That ball yesterday, it went foul at the last minute.

YOUK: He really stung it.

FRANCONA: It went foul at the last minute.

(Pair sit motionless for 24 hours, to simulate the passing of a day.)

YOUK: You think today?

FRANCONA: Maybe. It depends.

YOUK: He stung that ball the other day.

FRANCONA: It went foul at the last minute.

    I was watching the Rays-saux game last night, and when poopi hit that double off the monster in the eighth, the whole park jumped to their feet, it was great their getting desperate.
    But you gotta hand it to him he was smart enough to stop taking the juice when the testing got stricter.
