"YOU CAN'T BET ON BETEMIT!" bellowed the Chicago White Sox last night, sort of. Because that's when Team Obama DFAed their prize in the Nick Swisher trade, Wilson Betemit, seen here colliding with A-Ribbie-From-Robbie Cano last July.PERSONAL NOTE! I kind of hate Betemit, because last September 6th I had a good seat at stately Safeco Field for what would have been a big historic no-hitter -- Mariner Brandon Morrow's virgin MLB start -- if Bete-effin'-mit hadn't broken it up after two outs in the 8th. And the Yankees lost anyway. Of course, Morrow isn't having such a hot year, either. Oh well, eff us all.
