Somebody should go back in time to 2003 and poll Red Sox fans and ask the following question: Would you agree to have Curt Schilling succeed Ted Kennedy in the U.S. Senate in exchange for winning the World Series? I'd ask our fearless leader to run this poll, but I'm already a marked man.
