Let's face it: We always knew this would go seven

Here's how it works. The studio makes an epic -- Brad, Angelina, Meryl, Mel, Jack, Snoop, Paulie Shore in comeback performance as drag queen -- and it's gotta go three hours. You don't nab an Oscar unless you touch three. Everybody gets face time. Everybody gets nominated. Nobody scrimps.

Since Arod's HR off Fuentes, this thing was fated to go the distance.

And it will.

We knew if the Redsocks hit the second round, we'd face a 7-game series, eventually decided on the bounce of the ball or a blown call. It's not that Boston is as good a team, but because that's what happens when the studio makes an epic.

The Angeles are no different.

Professor X doesn't kill Magneto in the first reel.

Richard Gere doesn't realize it's love until hour 3.

The Abomination doesn't fight the Hulk until all else is settled.

We beat them on the road; they will do the same.

This will go seven.

It ends with CC v Lackey, ARod v. Fuentes, Abreu v. Mo -- the whole country riveted.

Accept this. Tomorrow, we must not fire upon our own troops. They'll have one more game to play -- the most important of the year.

  1. Nah, old faithful's got this, he gives up 2 runs in 6 2/3's, enough to make everyone nervous but we'll score 5 and coke, robertson and mo will shut them all down

  3. Oh ye of little faith. Before the series I predicted Yanks in six, and six shall it be. Joe Saunders will feel like Colonel Saunders with all the heat he'll get from the Yankee bats, like he's just plunged his pitching hand into a vat of hot chicken grease. That's gotta hurt!

    Whatever happened to thinking positive?

P.S. Have Duque and Alphonso been involved in some sort of mind-exchange experiment, ala "Young Frankenstein"?

P.P.S Shame for encouraging the career of Pauly Shore. You know that Carrot Top would be so much better for that role.

  4. Dukie is an effete member of the bourgeoisie and a thespian. This will not stand!
