BREAKING: MLB issues Code Red Injury Alert for Yankees today in Boston

The US State Department issued a bat and baserunning alert on Sunday for Yankees visiting Boston, after  Western intelligence agencies last week uncovered a Redsock Nation plot to wage attacks on New York starters.

Yankees are urged to use caution and vigilance at all times, and Yankee management has been requested to stay off the basepaths unless in cases of emergency.

"Current information suggests that the Redsock Nation and affiliated terror organizations continue to plan attacks," warns the alert. "Yankees should take every precaution to be aware of their surroundings and to adopt appropriate safety measures to protect themselves when in the field."
