In his delightful new book, ex-Texas Rangers owner George W. Bush says his mother once showed him a home canning jar containing the fetus of his miscarried sibling -- (no, not Jeb) -- a traumatic act that "gets a guy to be thinking about things and stuff," and which eventually resulted in him trading Sammy Sosa to the Cubs.
Bush told the rib-tickling story while promoting his new book, "Decidin' Points," on wall-to-wall network TV. The book is already a huge success, considering the $100 million Bush received from the GOP National Committee in exchange for delaying publication until after Election Day.
