Yanks give Cashman three years and two scapegoats

Cash stays, because of the great job he did last year, general managing the Yankees to second place in the AL East, when many thought the team would finish behind Toronto.

Hitting coach Kevin Long goes, because he apparently couldn't change the batting styles of withering 36-year-old millionaires in the throes of their last long-range contracts.

And finally, first base coach Mick Kelleher was fired for not waving more runners to second, not slapping enough butts, and failing to remind guys how many outs there are in the inning.

These are the days of miracle and wonder.

  1. Shame on RAB for all the water-carrying...before, during and after the season.

Minor league squads are most interesting part of the Yanx.

Sad no comments yet on this highly disturbing development.
