How do you think....

...the players feel when they score 4 runs to get the ," game back in hand," and then the pitching staff gives it right back?

...Tyler Austin reacts when he re-habs for three months, after re-habbing for a season, goes 2-4 and finds himself sitting again?

....the Cooper boy feels after he hits .400, plays great defense, and then gets a fake injury card
to, " disappear?"

...any young Yankee player feels about his future, when he watches Gerardi and Cashman do everything they can to acquire and play old, tired, marginally useful players, instead of using our own aggressive, exciting young ones?

....The stupid announcers feel when they can't say enough about ," the perfect bullpen Cashman has fashioned, " and then it falls apart like a drunk peeing himself?

....Cashman's boss feels when he sees that we gave up 6 of our top 10 prospects for unproductive, old players with expensive contracts. and the team can't stop losing within the division ever since the trades?

...the Boston fans feel when they see Judge humiliated, Chapman humiliated, and the Yankee team embarrassed on their field?

....any of us can remain normal when we watch other teams succeed with youth while we bury our success in that regard, and refuse to learn from our mistakes and the obvious success of others?

...any of us are going to watch another baseball game in 2017 with the Yankees in it?

  1. Exactly. Cashman and Joe must go. Cashman sold us down the river.

  2. How do you think: the Yankees are going to keep putting fannies in the seats if they keep pineapple-ing the fans like they did last night - - and all those other times Duque reminded us about??

Unless they do something positive (#FireGirardi, #FireCashman), they are going to sink into an even further oblivion than they already have. Hal may be happy with his one championship in 2009, but the rest of us demand much better, and smarter management is the very first place we need to start.

Most of the sportswriters and announcers are selling us fans down the river, praising Cashman & Girardi, simply for easy access & favorable treatment from the current management. Screw them, and everything they say!! That most certainly includes the Yes-Toadies. LB (No J)

  3. This says a lot about the New York Yankees:

A hostesses's ability to have a pineapple for an important dining event said as much about her rank as it did about her resourcefulness, given that the street trade in available fresh pineapples could be as brisk as it was bitchy. So sought after were the prickly fruits that colonial confectioners sometimes rented them to households by the day. Later, the same fruit was sold to other, more affluent clients who actually ate it. As you might imagine, hostesses would have gone to great lengths to conceal the fact that the pineapple that was the visual apogee of their table display and a central topic of their guests' conversation was only rented.

  4. And so begins tonight's pineapple-flavored unraveling.

  5. Judge should be banned from baseball. He already holds most games in a row with a K and barring injury (or a ghostly possession by Joe Dimaggio) he'll hold the single season K record by the first week of September.

And how about Tyler Austin taking the inevitable Cy Young winner deep? When's the next time he'll play? Joe will probably keep him on the bench for a week.

  6. Why am I watching this?

  7. Way to go, Judgey! Too much to ask for even so much as a late-inning hit.

  8. I wasn't following it by choice, then curiosity got me. Now I'm in and out and hating life.

And Pocono Steve, one of these days I'm going to sift through every box score and see if Judge has ever had a hit from the 7th inning on. I know he has never gotten a hit in the 9th. I'm pretty sure he has struck out around 80% of the time in the 8th and 9th. How embarrassing is it going to be when they take down the Judge's chambers?

God willing spring training Greg Bird returns to save this shit heap. I saw he cracked two today (yesterday?). Get that smooth as silk swing back and save us.

  9. My Missus offered to change from "Say Yes to the Dress" to the Yankee game. My response? "I don't know which will torture me more."

  10. And I am getting tired of the constant ballwashing by the Yankee announcers, Television AND radio. This whole "we have a great bullpen" narrative, for example. If they are so great, then why do they suck so bad?

  11. Right, we're just IMAGINING all those bullpen-induced pineapples up the butt.

  12. I have never seen so many runners reach first base on strikeouts. And then to add to that, never seen so many of those outs end up scoring. But hey, that's the just the 2017 New York Yankees shit pile team of destiny to suck dick (TM).

  13. It's Groundhog Day. Yet another runner reaches first on a strikeout. Yet another Judge strikeout in the 9th and with runners on base. I'm just going to assume yet another disastrous loss to the Red Sox.

  14. Jesus H. Christ on a Crutch. Even when they win, they suck.

  15. Sanchez. FFS. Block a pitch, will ya?

  16. Right? Bullpen ain't having enough problems. Let's make 'em get four outs!
