No idea why Monty needed pulling so quickly. No idea why D-Rob can't find the plate. Is he someone used to more work, so these gaps between appearances leave him too rusty?
They referred to this decision today, in the postgame, as Joe having "a full team" back now, so apparently he doesn't have to worry about playing guys in a groove. Phew, that's a relief!
I'm just hoping that, the more guys we get back, the harder it will be for him to bench everybody on a hot streak.
Geez. I didn't notice Holiday not being there. Castro on a hot streak would be a good thing. Monty was impressive. He might be a very good pitcher next year.

If I've got this right, Matt Holiday returned a few days ago, hit HRs in each of 2 games, and ....... did not get into today's lineup.
I know, I know -- they won anyway.
But such decisions (part of the grand JoeyBinders plan, apparently) have hurt, and will hurt in the future. Doncha think?
