Mark Feinsand reports:
Asked about Bryce Harper, Brian Cashman rattled off the names of his six outfielders and said there’s no spot. Reiterated that playing Harper at first base isn’t an option for the Yankees.
Who, pray tell, were those six outfielders? According to MLB, it was:
incumbent starters Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Hicks, as well as returning options Brett Gardner, Jacoby Ellsbury and Clint Frazier as backups
Stop already! You're KILLING me with this material, Coops! No, I mean you're REALLY killing me!
that list looks more like two outfielders, a DH, a pinch runner, and two candidates for long term care.
