Shocker!!!!

Boone is playing both Frazier AND Wade tonight. And Ford, and Gleyber leading off, and Nestor as the opener. I'm stunned.

  1. Looks like an audition wouldn't you say?

And poor Cortes on the mound. You'd think on a Yankee salary he could afford a decent nose job and start turning down jobs as a double for Elisabeth Moss.

  3. Cortes looks exactly like George Costanza’s girlfriend on “The Blind Date” episode.
“Will you call me as soon as you get home?”

  4. Oops, the Seinfeld episode was “The Boyfriend” and the actress was Carol Ann Susi. I swear to God Cortes looks exactly like her.

  5. Suzyn most definitely does not have a crush on Frazier.

  6. But Boone is also pitching both Cortes Jr and Cessa. I am so so sick of both of them and their pitching mound bullshit.

Fuck you Boone and fuck you too Hal.

  7. And Cessa is still up to his bullshit. He get to play. Of course he does. But The Red Menace? He has to stay down on the farm. That's the Yankee way.

    Fuckers.

    Fuck you Hal.

  8. If anyone gets tired of this, John’s next podcast has been posted. His opening “famous sayings” are sadly fake. The must not let him use his own cuts :(

He hasn’t mentioned it yet, but do you think “Pinstripes and Brightlights” means we’ll get Yankees and some Broadway stories too?

  9. And now Cory Gearrin. Perhaps because Boone thinks my patience is limitless?

  10. Oh, great. Loaisiga is warming up. Fantastic.

  11. Maaaaan Suzyn hates Frazier. “Throwing to nobody in particular twice” she says.

  12. Shitshow. Well, we don't need to win this one. Better to rest the good pitchers for the playoffs NEXT FUCKING MONTH.

  13. I'm glad we beat Boston. In other news...we're total assholes who still have horrible pitching and rely on home runs to win.

  14. Now it's Ryan Dull and his 13.50 ERA. Excellent. Go get 'em Kid.

  15. WOW, they are treating tonight's game as if they already won the division. No other excuse to trot out all those awful pitchers.

  16. The Yanks will still win this game, so no harm no foul. Just need one more “Blastaroo” than the Tigers get.

  22. 11 - 11 suck my balls.

Did you all see this headline on the Yankees' site?

"Set to return, CC ready for championship run"

  23. Frazier has not impressed

  24. Anyone notice the A's are beating the Rastros 17-2?

  25. Great game plan from the crack coaching staff of the world famous New York Yankees.

  26. All right, well, best to save the arms.

But just how bad are some of these guys? Sure, the error hurt. But c'mon! Can't hold a six-run lead against a team that's 42-100? And just how do you plan to stay in the majors?

Well, at least we're tied with Minnie for the HR record now.

    ReplyDelete
  27. How many times we were reminded that we blew a 6-0 lead?

  28. I can understand resting guys but, since all the games count, (and we're trying for home-field advantage) once you have a winnable game why wouldn't you try to win it. Is tomorrows game somehow more important?

Really bad job of managing tonight.

Also Frazier is NOT a good fielder and I know he's a Right Fielder but that's not where they need him. Even next year. He has to play left or nothing at all. The inability to pick up the ball in the last inning (even though it did no harm) is what clinched it for me. No longer a fan.

  29. 11 runs is enough to win if your pitching coach is not Larry Nutsack.
