Brantley is starting today's game.
I can't get any information on Gary from anywhere.
I didn't keep watching the game because, when a rookie ( making his debut ) struck out three Yankees with the bases loaded, I realized there was no point watching Cole suffer.
And I have now conceded that none of the Yankees recently elevated from Scranton have any future in the game.
The Boston phenom is, indeed, a phenom.
But we have Jessica Dominguez, who is better than Mantle.
Stiff back.

Stiff backed or stiff kneed, you stand straight at Tiffany's.
ReplyDeleteMarilyn sang it, Gary lives it.
Maybe Sanchez is just as disgusted by the current malfunction as we are
ReplyDeleteThis isn't worth watching. Sad and pathetic.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a kid, I took accordion lessons and the teacher had an accordion orchestra of 30 or so kids. I got drafted to the 1st accordion section, quite the honor. We played all kinds of stuff, but I do remember that one piece was an accordion orchestral arrangement of Tsaikovsky's 6th Symphony, otherwise known as "Pathetique."
This Yankees team is playing it now.
Tchaikovsky.
ReplyDeleteGood lord: do you have a recording of that?
I wish.
ReplyDeleteWe're suddenly winning.
This is crazy.
Beauty, JM!
ReplyDeleteHow much did Lawrence Welk charge for the lessons?
ReplyDeleteFirst, STD (Stud To Dud ) Sanchez strained his neck admiring his tattoos. Nice of Brantley, taking off from first by forgetting the outs. They should serve the Yankees players brain food.
ReplyDeleteBrantley signature moment as a Yankee.
ReplyDeleteWill they do a "Yankeography" of him?
