Hope the boys saved some of that magic for tonight. Here's to a 2021 Subway Series championship! Say, wouldn't it be incredible if, like, we won, like, 20 games in a row! It sure would be incredible! Wow! Twenty games in a row! Sign me up!

ReplyDeleteIt's definitely past the point where I care who wins this subway series. What a bunch of losers, both teams. Who really cares which team is the bigger loser?
ReplyDeleteJust about everyone on this blog saw this moment coming. In spring training, almost all of us predicted a lousy season. I think I predicted 87 wins, or something like that, and 4th place. I even thought that the wheels were completely coming off at one point. It didn't get quite that bad, but it's been bad enough. The worst part of it all is that Cashman is not going away. He'll be here for a long time yet. It's like the Rime of the Ancient Mariner. It goes on and on and on.

Who the hell was Luis Cruz? I can't for the life of me remember him, but I'd still take him over Torres at this point.
