    Yes, it was a BIG one. Far too big. One where 1956 had me in high school ( barely ).

    You do the math.

    It is so weird. Happy to be here and still sentient. But so much behind me now. Dreams now extend to Tuesday of next week.

    But the Yankees ...and the great works we postulate here...keep us young.

    I still yearn for the crack of the bat. The smack of the ball hitting a mitt.

    The sound of silence when Giancarlo strikes out.

    And where does a beer and a hot dog taste best?

    After all these years.
