Game 151: This time for sure

  1. Every media voice seems to take it for granted that Judge will hit at least 62. I'm not so sure. Judge puts a much calmer persona out there than Maris was able to do, but what's going on inside? Does he talk about this with his wife? Does she know what he really feels or what effects the stress is having on him?

If Pujols can suddenly hit two in one game and reach 700, Judge is certainly capable of hitting two in any game to reach 62. Hell, he's capable of hitting 10 in the last 12 games to reach 70. But will he do either? I don't now. I hope so.

  2. Three perfect hittable pitches. all strikes. Uh oh...

Judge should stop trying to hit a HR. just meet the ball.

  3. Yeah, Judge looked mystified. Those two he hit foul were both meaty and could've been hit out. Wonder if he's still as locked in as has been?

  4. Was that a hit and run with DONALDSON at the plate? Hope that was a missed sign, if Boone called that he should be lobotomized. Or maybe it’s too late? Anyway, doesn’t look like our day, so far.

  5. Britton looks fine to me...that's how he looked before getting hurt...

Maybe they DFA'd the wrong player...

  6. Another stealth move by HOF Cashman. The idiot Mariners signed Castillo for 5/$100ml. Fabulous Frankie Montas will sign for a lot less than that.

  7. Obviously testing Zach was more important than winning this game. Nice job by Trivino stranding the runners.

Well, nine games up in the loss column. Guess it was okay.

  8. Is this where Loogie gives up the three run homer?

  9. God I can't stand Boston even when they ain't going nowhere in a season

  10. No - this is where Judge is set up to actually hit one out to retake the lead

  11. Loogie is incapable of getting out of an inning without coughing up at least one run. We were lucky Verdugo didn't get the homer.

  12. Bosch, "history of shadows"....lol!

  13. I wonder if Stanton is placing prop bets on striking out. Or maybe Boone is. He's utterly hopeless up there - any contact he makes is blind luck.

  14. That was some catch by Bootsy. Wow.

  15. Amazing that Bader can still make catches like that with no hair on his head.

  18. Blowing the lead to give Judge another at bat. They called that one from Bristol CT.

  19. The boys from Bristol are sharp as a pistol when they do the Bristol Stomp.

  21. I’ll live to see the Yankees win another World Series. For the Master though, they better hurry up.
