Every media voice seems to take it for granted that Judge will hit at least 62. I'm not so sure. Judge puts a much calmer persona out there than Maris was able to do, but what's going on inside? Does he talk about this with his wife? Does she know what he really feels or what effects the stress is having on him?
If Pujols can suddenly hit two in one game and reach 700, Judge is certainly capable of hitting two in any game to reach 62. Hell, he's capable of hitting 10 in the last 12 games to reach 70. But will he do either? I don't now. I hope so.
Was that a hit and run with DONALDSON at the plate? Hope that was a missed sign, if Boone called that he should be lobotomized. Or maybe it’s too late? Anyway, doesn’t look like our day, so far.

Three perfect hittable pitches. all strikes. Uh oh...
ReplyDeleteJudge should stop trying to hit a HR. just meet the ball.
Gaybar!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, Judge looked mystified. Those two he hit foul were both meaty and could've been hit out. Wonder if he's still as locked in as has been?
ReplyDeleteNo I think Boston's Bitchass pitchers are prolly throwing extra hard FB they've thrown all year tryna not to "Be the one"
DeleteCrap. German serves meatball.
ReplyDeleteReplay official must be carmines fan.

ReplyDeleteStanton....my god
ReplyDeleteBritton looks fine to me...that's how he looked before getting hurt...
ReplyDeleteMaybe they DFA'd the wrong player...
Britton spittin’ the bit’n
ReplyDeleteAnother stealth move by HOF Cashman. The idiot Mariners signed Castillo for 5/$100ml. Fabulous Frankie Montas will sign for a lot less than that.
ReplyDeleteObviously testing Zach was more important than winning this game. Nice job by Trivino stranding the runners.
ReplyDeleteWell, nine games up in the loss column. Guess it was okay.
Is this where Loogie gives up the three run homer?
ReplyDeleteJust couldn't escape the inning.
ReplyDeleteJust couldn't do it.
ReplyDeleteGod I can't stand Boston even when they ain't going nowhere in a season
ReplyDeleteNo - this is where Judge is set up to actually hit one out to retake the lead
ReplyDeleteLoogie is incapable of getting out of an inning without coughing up at least one run. We were lucky Verdugo didn't get the homer.
ReplyDeleteBosch, "history of shadows"....lol!
ReplyDeleteRizzo!!!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Stanton is placing prop bets on striking out. Or maybe Boone is. He's utterly hopeless up there - any contact he makes is blind luck.
ReplyDeleteWhy is Lugnut still pitching?
ReplyDeleteAnyone? Anyone? Buehler?
ReplyDeleteGet lit-up the fuck outta there
ReplyDeleteThat was some catch by Bootsy. Wow.
ReplyDeleteHe's Bootsy now? As in P-Funk Bootsy?
ReplyDeleteAmazing that Bader can still make catches like that with no hair on his head.
ReplyDeleteEffross... three run homer here?
ReplyDeleteRufus, I like Bootsy Bader. Has a nice alliteration.
ReplyDeleteelfin' Effross
ReplyDeleteBlowing the lead to give Judge another at bat. They called that one from Bristol CT.
ReplyDeleteHELLO BRISTOL!
ReplyDeleteCan anybody close on this team?
ReplyDeleteThe boys from Bristol are sharp as a pistol when they do the Bristol Stomp.
