Game Thread: It's Luis Severino Bobblehead Night!

Maybe the fans will throw them onto the field
like they did with the Reggie Bars.

  1. At least you could always use Reggie Bars for for carp bait.

  2. Arch, doorstop? Paperweight. I got it! Doggie chew toy!

  3. The head doesn't bobble up and down though. It snaps around backward to watch the flight of the ball.

  4. My question is, if they are thrown on the field, will they be headless? Or maybe just the heads will be thrown on the field...

  5. Gotta be the heads because they are the most aerodynamic right?

This is going to be funny until someone gets hurt.

Here's another down side... tough crowd. Might make a free agent or two think twice eh?

Next we will be lighting the bobbleheads on fire.

  6. Rodon has no movement on his pitches. They are hard but all straight.

    1. Yes, Doug K. I noticed the same thing. There has been a lot of solid contact.

  7. It is simply perverse that a proven failure like Cordero is back while Florial remains submerged.

  8. They just offered a 30 minute hitting lesson with three Yankees as an auction item.

    Wow.

  9. Expecting this lineup to make contact with a baseball is asking a lot

I'm willing to be the Yankees hitters could not hit a cows arse with a banjo.

In fact, I think they couldn't hit an elephants arse with a cello.

  10. Jesus Santa Maria!

    They're losing to the Cubbies?

  11. Fucking team
    One hit through 6.
Every other team this year has hit Taillon. Not us!
    Stanton back in the Interstate.
Finchy Cordero starting . Can’t hit, can’t field.

Even the lightweight fans will soon realize they’re been snookered.

  12. Gone from wurst to even wurster.

The ruptured septic tank of the mlb

  13. 1 hit in 8 innings.

    This is just terrible.

But I do agree with Sterling. We should have signed Benitendi or Bellinger or somebody. Why the hell didn't we?

I like Bellinger. I liked his dad, too.

  14. Another ignominious loss. To a bad team. At home. Only managing 2 singles. And not by Little Tony!

  15. Thuuuuuuuhhhhh.... Yankees....suck!

  17. Bobblehead night?
Cashman can bobble my fucking balls!
The worst-hitting team in my lifetime.
A rookie pitcher starting? A guy that everyone has racked around? James Tallion who sported the highest ERA in the National League? No difference, just a few hits all game.
This team makes the'62 Mets seem like Murderer's Row by comparison.
Hal thinks he's a top-of-the-line corporate CEO of a huge Fortune 100 company and when he poses for a picture tries to project confidence and competency. But he's nothing more than a flaming red asshole that was given everything with nothing earned.
And Cashman with that deer-in-a-headlight, big-eyed stare should be called out for what he is: The worst GM in baseball! He should be stalked by a woman like Victoria Jackson.

  18. Carl, I was going to make light of your passionate tirade, but I can't because you're completely correct.

  19. Carl,

You would have to pay extra for Ca$hole to do that. Didn't you read the price list?
