We have the best training staff.
ReplyDeleteGene Monahan left the team in 2011.
I guess there's no correlation to their record...
Johnny Lasagna, we hardly knew ya ...
ReplyDelete“Alas, poor Lasagna! I knew him Horatio.”
ReplyDelete“Where be your gibes now? Your gambols? Your flashes of merriment that were wont to set the table on a roar? Not one now, to mock your own grinning? Quite chap-fallen? Now get you to my lady’s chamber, and tell her, let her paint an inch thick, to this favour she must come; make her laugh at that.”
Odor (part two) and Santana
ReplyDeletelimited tickets available
YOU CAN NOT HAVE CHICKEN PARM AND LASAGNA ON THE SAME PLATE.
Can you hear me, Bartolo!?!
Johnny Lasagna has pitched about 20 innings over the last 3 years and he was supposed to replace King? These people are delusional
ReplyDeleteI spell it G-O-O-D-B-Y-E
ReplyDelete@AA, BUT BUT BUT the Olive Garden's got the Tour of Italy dish with chicken parm & lasagna!
ReplyDeleteLoaisiga was an injury waiting to happen. He's brittle. Time to move on. They do have plenty of live arms in the pen. The starters suck so bad that everybody's arms will be dropping off by end of June.
ReplyDeletewell, OK....HOG....
ReplyDeleteBUT ONLY AT THE OLIVE GARDEN!
Suzyn: The reason Toronto is losing so much is because of the bullpen. The back end of the bullpen is injured.
ReplyDeleteJohn: That'll do it.
Berti Berti Berti
ReplyDeleteI blame this all on El Duque!
ReplyDeleteBack in ST, he was marveling at the Yankees health, that the Yankees haven’t had a single injury all spring.
THWACK!
And then the shite hit the fan.
That’s what you get for crowing in front of the baseball gods.
Okay now, who’s next?
Loisada is a cherished member of THE NICK JOHNSON INJURY CLUB. Other members the paper mon, Stanton, Smellsbury, Carl Pavano. Maybe The Genius will bring back Jason Miller. In case you do not remember, he is the trainer that told Yankees players not to stretch. This resuled in mumerous hamstring injuries.
ReplyDeleteLosing 1-0, and I'm getting that old feeling of hopelessness. Moribund offense. Just nothing.
ReplyDeleteEl Duque, if I wrote for this blog, I would hold a contest for which Yankee played will be injured next. My bet, Tissue Mon Stanton!
ReplyDeleteWow! Broadway singers aren't what they used to be.
ReplyDeleteIf we lose, it's on Boone. Idiot manager.
ReplyDeleteRight now Soto is a generational out machine…
ReplyDeleteWho the hell is Santana and where did he come from?
ReplyDelete@JM
ReplyDeletehttps://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2023/12/yankees-sign-dennis-santana-reliever-mets.html
This is awful…
ReplyDeleteDepth, experience, and crap, Ranger.
ReplyDelete2023, 2022,2021.... has anything really changed?
ReplyDeleteNot really…
ReplyDeleteThree hours I’m not getting back…
ReplyDeleteThis is the team we know! No offense, struck out 11 times. Stanton sinking out of sight, Soto slumping, boooone gaslighting a mile a minute during his post game presser.
ReplyDeleteJust like old times!
To quote David Byrne “same as it ever was”
ReplyDeleteTo quote Fat Bastard, "Its Crap"
ReplyDeleteThe ump jobbed Soto. It's one thing to strike out and another if you give the pitcher 4 inches on BOTH sides of the plate. That said, WHY IS STANTON BATTING CLEAN UP??!!!
ReplyDeleteAs Celerino says, "Same as it ever was"
The Master has sounded absolutely ageless these first bunch of games.
ReplyDeleteMay he live forever!
Reunion with Rougned.
ReplyDelete@ Doug K. "WHY IS STANTON BATTING CLEAN UP??!!!"
ReplyDeleteBecause the name of the game here is mediocrity.
