Live by the solo HR, die by the solo HR. But last night, it worked.

1. Carlos Carrasco? Five innings? One dinky solo HR?  Didn't see it coming.

2. Four HRs, all solo. Saw that coming.

3. Great play by The Martian. (On right.) Not a chance did I see it.

4. Another win braced by appearance from Luke Weaver. Our ace. (Should he be starting?)

5. Jazz Chisholm with 6 HRs. On track to hit 36.

6. Ben Fucking Rice!

7. "Weave and Williams for the win. The W Boys going for the W!"

8. Judge hitting .367.

9. Goldschmidt hitting .367.

10. What is this about hitting .367?

  1. E. D. Through the magic of late night, left coast, Tax Day metrics I
was able to answer your question:

    .367 3 x 6 =18 + 7 = 25

    25….as in 2025

    You’re welcome

  2. To expand on AA's mathematics, since 25 was the answer to last night's game equation, the final score of tonight's game must be 6-4.

    1. This leaves only one question: Which answer is right....25 or 6-4? (Groan)

    2. There are no correct answers, Carl. Statistically speaking, they’re all wrong.

    1. We have already won! Why have the 2025 World Series? We ALREADY WON! And we won last year, but they stole it from us. Stop the steal!

  6. If a certain politician doesn't receive beautiful, very beautiful, luxury boxes for his favorite team, will ICE make a visit to their clubhouses at every organizational level?

  7. Hey, how about that Michael King kid? Complete game, working his way up to ace status, maybe.

That trade to get Soto was massively stupid. It was questionable when it was made, but in retrospect it can be seen for the stupid move it really was.

    Soto was fun but....

  8. I'm pretty sure he's a free agent at the end of this year. So if the Yankees want to pay him, which they would have had to at the end of this year anyway, they can. They only lost him for one (non-Soto) year. And we did make the series with Soto so not horrible. :)

  9. He is indeed a F/A after this season. Stroman’s injury will allow the team to decline his option after this year, but will the penurious steinscummer really want to add another expensive long term contract to the rotation? I think not. Look for him in Flushing nest season.
