2. Our No. 3 hitter is batting .229.
3. Arod is having worst year of his career.
4. Granderson hitting just .237.
5. Chan Ho Park looking like a washout.
6. Curtis? Huffman? Pena? Russo? No experience on bench.
7. Jorge can't catch, and Jesus of Columbus-Wilke Barre not ready.
8. In fairness to team, we've suffered many injuries.
9. Joba too inconsistent.
10. Can't trade for Cliff Lee -- no place to put him.
CASHMAN, HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO US?
Curtis? Huffman?
ReplyDeleteTHEY TIED THE GAME LAST NIGHT, putz!
What a horrible year. We are such a long suffering franchise. Is there anyone who has gone longer without winning? I just can't take it anymore.
ReplyDeleteI want to be a winner like the Cubs, Arizona Cardinals, Eagles, or Indians.
This has the classic feel of a rebuilding year. Our leading edge of high draft picks are two or three years from really being MLB ready while the core players are all AARP eligible. We have no one to trade away and even if we could land a big name, how are we supposed to pay for them?
ReplyDeleteI hope Cash admits the season is lost, trades Jeter and Mo while they still have some value, and gets some young prospects who'll help us down the road.

You'd never guess we are in first place. What a bunch of wankers... or is this all from Alphono?
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I've been watching this team for 55 years, and I've never seen them do so good while looking so bad.
ReplyDeleteI know something weird is happening, but I don't know what it is.
