Looks like another heavy defeat looming and I have seen enough 1.30am here and I cant be bothered watching this bunch of serial losers anymore
Serious question the New York Yankees baseball fans (especially on here and beat writers seem to be very knowledgeable about the game so why does Cashman get such an easy ride?
Apart from here all the other fan blogs and comments on newpapers etc nobody seems to want to criticise him
He has overseen perhaps the biggest waste of money for zero return in all of sports for the last 14 odd years and yet no calls for his head it really baffles me.
I think Stroman's big time anger meltdown reminded the team what it looks like to actually give a shit and play with some passion. You know, the things a good manager does.
The lineup reminds me of last year of Jeter and the years that followed. Back when we had an All Star top to bottom, but seven to ten years later. I'm still amazed at how thin the whole system is after all of the talk about building the farm.

Durante di Alighiero degli Alighieri would approve of the graphic.
ReplyDeleteWe are in the tenth circle of hell.
Enjoy the game!
Wait, whut?
ReplyDeleteWe have a 0.192 batting FUCKING DH hitting FUCKING NINTH? A FUCKING DH hitting ninths. What the?
With a dumpster reclamation batting FUCKING CLEANUP?
Followed by our .215 hitting *allstar* second baseman with no clue how to hit anymore batting fifth?
A regular murderers row.
If the spread were 8, I'd take the over.
Ca$hole should be fired before the first pitch.
ReplyDeleteFucking losing already
ReplyDeleteMight as well cancel the rest of the season
Hope we don’t wait to trade Volpe like we waited to trade Torres
ReplyDeleteSoto batting under .300 now.
ReplyDeleteBTR I still like Volpe.
Volpe, Judge, Soto, keep. Obviously not in that order.
ReplyDeleteEVERYONE else, including pitchers on the block.
Soto baseball brain >>>>= Gleyber baseball brain
ReplyDeleteMaybe they could find a market for Rodon. Said this yesterday. The Sonny Gray idea. Still great just not here.Throw in 1/2 the salary.
ReplyDeleteStroman was pissed at Gleyber for not getting to the groundball earlier in the inning and then mad again because he didn't gun the throw.
