Bizarre that they are intentionally walking Judge, as he seems to have slipped back into his extended slump this month.
Another nothing game, with Montas getting shelled not only by the New Babe Ruth, but by old friend Mike Ford. While we, once again, can't hit a guy with an ERA over 4.
And after Mike Ford homered, the Angels placed some kind of cowboy hat on his head.
I guess that's the difference between other fans and us. They go to the park to watch their floundering, awful teams do cute little things with each other. We want to see ours win.
Once again, guys, we're out of step with our time.
Truly amazing to see these at-bats. Yanks hack at everything, including all sorts of pitches out of the strike zone. They seem to have no plan at the plate. The hitting instruction looks to be nonexistent.
Gleyber took his foot off second on a routine DP, allowing Trout to have an at-bat with a runner on that base. Holmes then got Trout anyway—good to see—but really, is there any point to Torres showing up for the rest of the year? Or ever?
Captures my mood, especially when I listen to the Yankees' front office bullshit..... I wonder how the players would view this song, especially when they have to listen to the analytics bullshit being half-heartedly (I believe) shoveled at them through Boone.
I Talk to the Wind King Crimson Said the straight man to the late man Where have you been? I've been here and I've been there And I've been in between
I talk to the wind My words are all carried away I talk to the wind The wind does not hear The wind cannot hear
I'm on the outside looking inside What do I see Much confusion, disillusion All around me

I, for one, am looking forward to the Montas Spring Training stories about how he is all settled in NY, has worked all winter on being in the best shape of his life, fixed a flaw in his delivery and will win 20 games as NY's All-Star No. 2 started.
What do you say, over and Under for the first story Feb 16th.?
Maybe Anthony Freemont can turn Brian Cashman into a Jack-in-the-Box. If so, everyone here will say "Anthony....it's a good thing you did to Mr. Cashman...a real good thing"!

I've been in that cornfield.
Maybe we can get Billy Mummy to send Cashman there. Tell Cash Shoeless Joe wants to make a comeback and he'll take a 1918 salary.
Spot on Doug!
Listening to Dosin' at the Knick. Jerry's kids from the early 90's. Much better that Michael Kay.
Think I'll go to bed early. Nothing to watch on TV. Including this game.
Has a playoff team ever lost a series by being no-hit in every game? We may get to see that this October.
LOVE it, Doug!

Name of the night: Angels just put in Magneuris Sierra. Now that's a name to conjure with!
I wish Frankie would go to Hollywood. And stay there.

I have an urge to watch monster movies.
Cabrera “gave it a ride” as they used to say, but it was just a big empty noise. Like this team.
Man. Cabrera thought he got it, which would've been sweet. I'm sure Peralta would've just blown it in the bottom of the 9th, but still.
Too bad.
It's a Good game. Maybe a blizzard tomorrow? Well maybe time to play some Bing Crosby...
So, at least Holmes looked good coming back tonight. And Judge had a nice blast.
Need I say it? Benintendi rips a single right after Judge. Maybe if he had been hitting ahead of him...
The Boone Boob move of the game: pinch-runs LoCastro for Donaldson in the 9th...but he doesn't go until it's 1-2. Useless.
Stanton with yet another hitless night. Gleyber being Gleyber. And Montas, as we knew, a total zero.
Good night, all!
Certainly would like to thank Cashole for sending Monty packing for a gimp and a.Montas. Excellent moves as usual ya stupid freak!
Do you think Billy Mumy ever looks at Ron Howard's career and thinks, 'That could've been me.' Or vice versa?

Obla de Oblada,
darling how the life goes on.
[Or something like that.]
