Yanks lose 4-2 at home in extras.
Takeaways:
1. Is Aaron Judge totally fried? Guy looks lost. (Wouldn't blame him, considering the pressures he faced.)
2. So much for Jameson Tailion out of the bullpen. (Actually, it wasn't his fault. Donaldson screwed up.)
3. Fifteen strikeouts. Shades of the Grandyman and Swisher. (Thinking 2012.)
4. At least we burned their closer for a game or two. Guy threw 33 pitches, 2.1 innings, and he was a bit wild at the end.
5. We used seven fucking pitchers. (Sevy? You gotta give us seven.)
6. Starting to worry about Oswaldo. Has Cleveland figured him out? If so, Stanton might have to play LF with Carpenter as DH?)
7. And are we crazy to think Carpenter can return from nowhere and hit?
8. Listened to John & Suzyn. The Master was upbeat, glowing with hope, until the 10th. But Suzyn sensed disaster. A bunch of "mm"s and "ooh"s. She saw the outcome.

Fear not, the only manager to make the playoffs in his first 5 years will settle everything down.
Suzyn saw it coming, absolutely right. Plenty of little gasps and oh nos.
This team can't hit. Period.
We scored two runs in the first because Sean Bieber was quite content to let Stanton walk if he wouldn't swing at what he wanted him to swing at, but the ump wouldn't let him. So Bieber got a little careless and left one up.
That was it. End of scoring for the day, as if we were hitting against Sandy Koufax, with Mariano coming on in relief. This is a good Cleveland pitching team, but they're not world beaters...
And yes, a lot of bad luck today. But no ability to bounce back from it.
Judge is in a slump? Hey, it happens. But WTF was he doing sailing a ball ten feet over the head of the catchers and ten feet up the line?
Donaldson hit a ball well that didn't quite sink in time? Bummer. But WTF was he doing throwing the ball around the infield like it was a Little League game?
This team lacks enough ability to win a World Series. But it also lacks heart, grit, and professionalism.
" But it also lacks heart, grit, and professionalism. "
masthead material.
"Starting to worry about Oswaldo. "
I'm starting to worry that the "hit strikes hard" (even when you miss - a LOT) crowd has gotten to him.
Suzyn should be the GM.
And John should be the manager.
Here, Here Rufus.
Anybody but Booooone should manage this club.
Bringing in Taillon ahead of Schmidt was a terrible idea.
Seriously? You bring a guy into a tied playoff game for his first EVER relief appearance? When you have a guy who’s done it all year?
You can’t hang this on Taillon. Boooone called his number first, and he sucked. No excuse. THEN he brings Schmidt when it’s way too late. Terrible choice. Terrible decision.

A total reflection of their manager. (so called)
Thanks, guys. But yeah, this series ain't coming' back to New York.
Suzyn also has a disapproving little cluck/tongue click that ABSOLUTELY predicts baseball. Not very far in advance mind you… but if John is in one of his long wind ups for a foul ball, you immediately know its foul when you hear her cluck and then later John lets us know if went foul…or was caught… or whatever Suzyn told us with one little tongue noise.
So perhaps a new name…
It is high… (cluck)… it is far… it is caught
