To me, anything else is gravy. I know, I know, my standards have fallen. But beating Boston was great, humiliating Boston, even better. I don't expect us to continue on, so anything more will be a pleasant surprise...
And WERE the Sox even trying all that hard? Those two quick hooks really made me wonder if they realized they didn't have it, and just wanted to make sure they didn't overwork their top starters. Maybe it was just stupidity—if it had been Boone, we'd know for sure—but it was weird.
