I just have one thing to say.....

 1.  Most of us, on this blog, predicted that the Yankee ceiling in2026 would be to win the play-in round, and then bow out of the playoffs.

2.  If Boone ever lets Jazz  play again for this team, we shall know he is the worst manager in the history of the game.

3.  Judge will be ready for the next round and the World Series.

4.  Stanton will strike out again today, if the game is close.

5.  We played baseball against Boston ( bunts, advancing runners, catching grounders, making true throws to the bases, no catcher interference, etc.).  Against Tampa, everyone swung for the fences and all, except Ben Rice, struck out.

6.  With a non baseball guy in the ownership position,  Cashman and Boone will stay until they are taken out for health reasons.   Or, perhaps, a flash flood.

That's my one comment.  That's all I have to say for this season.

What a waste of time.

Time to call Waste Management, the refuse company that is NOT, in any way, shape or form, connected to the Mob. At all.

And how bizarre that their style of play changed so much! What WAS that about? The Yankees are weirdly mysterious, even in their losing.

Meanwhile, though, I have the perfect chant for when we play our final home game on Wednesday: "Top 40 Percent! Top 40 Percent!"

Hope the fans do the necessary.

WM had a facility near the house in NH years ago. Just down the road, ab Italian restaurant opened. Brand new stone building. Nondescript signage. No advertising. Strange that we heard nothing about it.

We made a reservation. Went to eat. We were one of two occupied tables in the place. Seats ~100. Other table 8 people. 4 guys on one end. 4 women on the other end. All speaking Italian.

WM moved out about 10 years later and for some reason the restaurant sold. Shame. It was good Italian food.

And definitely, absolutely, not connected to the mob.

The great John Jastremski literally hopping mad on SNY last night—it was great to see. They were wondering if the fans would boo the Yanks, and decided probably not.

They SHOULD boo them. Or better yet, greet them with stony silence. The bleacher bums, for a start, should forego the roll call.

Or maybe we should bring back that mooning idea.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that many body parts including a high number penises with attached testicles are frequently foiund in land fills.

Mooning: I like that idea! "Slap Shot" movie had a mooning scene.

It's a good thing that you didn't sit at a table by the front window. Sometimes at certain Italian eateries, sitting there could be detrimental to your health. Lead poisoning.

Alphonso, Boone IS the worst manager of all time. It ain't just the in-game strategy fuck ups. It's because he fails to get his players ready for the playoffs. These guys are talented, but they still suck, if that makes any sense. It always shows up when they play a team like Tampa.

We should get down on our knees, and thank the Good Lord that we're not advancing to play the White Sox or the Milwaukee Brewers. Would have been a historic, histrionic level beatdown.

BTW, it looks like the Chicago Whities are going to the ALCS. Guardians f/k/a Indians should/be/known as Praetorians are a no-show in their divisional series. Pope's prayers are working so far.

I sat near the other table. Don't know if that was safe or dangerous. I'm guessing safer, because I was not aerated during the meal.

I advocate calling them "The Diane's".
