Without a single thought or discussion, Girardi has already named AJ Burnett the starter for Wednesday's game.
Obama always felt that "things would work themselves out " with the Republicans on the debt limit, and look what that got him.......see photo, at right.
What's with Girardi? Still recalling the days when he could beat us and Boston while pitching for the Blue Jays? Still remembering one decent playoff season for the Yanks?
This is a game of, " what have you done for me lately?" And AJ is 7-8 and hasn't won a game since May.
It's like Obama taking comfort that the US didn't have to default on its debt under his watch. Meanwhile, the Tea-vangelicals are in control, calling him a " Gangster." I could only wish he had the balls of a gangster.
He really believes that the super committee will do the right thing? He really believes the country isn't going to fall into an extended recession?
Girardi believes AJ is going to turn it around, and maybe pitch 4 shut-outs as part of a 9 game winning streak? Girardi believes a guy with a 7-8 record, and no wins since May, is better than a 9-4 pitcher?
When did everyone become deaf, dumb and blind?

He's 8-9. Last win was June 29.
Right.
Maybe the Socks will take him even up for John Lackey? We could always throw in Andrew Brackman and his shrink.
Doesn't matter.
Our mighty offense will roll over and play dead in Fenway.
Boston will run away with the division, we'll coast to the wild card because the Angels' offense is pathetic, and Burnett won't pitch in the playoffs.
We'll lose the ALCS in 6 with Hughes getting beat twice.
Aceves will win the final game in relief of Lackey.
Then we'll have to root for Cliff Lee in the World Series.
Like I've said before, the Yankees are stupid. If they didn't have so much money, they'd suck. They paper over their moronic decisions with bucks.
And I'm a fan for 45 years. No wonder other teams' fans hate us.
Those fans don't hate all of us, just you.
