I Have A Couple Of Suggestions:

If the Yankees want to win a wild card, they have to make a few adjustments;

1. Never, I repeat never, allow Gardner to attempt to steal second. Let him dance and draw throws, but do not let him steal. Do not ever give him the green light. that will give us a chance for a rally.

2. Never let Jorge hit when there is a runner on first and fewer than 2 outs. Pinch hit for him every time. That will avoid inning-ending double plays.

3. Keep Boone Logan away from left-handed batters. He can't get them out. That is why this former number one pick of the Phillies is a bust. If he were a righty, he would already be selling roofing tiles.

4. If an opposing runner on first breaks for second on the pitch delivery, and Franciso Cervelli is catching, instruct Francisco not to throw to second. Not ever. That way, the runner remains at second and, in many cases, he will
get a " defensive indifference call" rather
than a stolen base. It will reflect better on Cervelli's major league record, cut down on team errors, and keep a runner off third.

More later.

Another suggestion. Trade Kei Igawa for Mark Melancon.

Yeah, I know, but I had to try.
