Any else streaming the game on At Bat? Some time ago YouTube decided I speak Spanish and started playing about 50% Spanish language ads. I blame listening to Ricky Ricardo. Now what I can’t explain is why At Bat now keeps trying to feed me “Beyond Black History Month”. This ad is preferable to what I used to hear for “Mother Country Radicals with Zayd Dohrn” but still not really my thing. But I guess I’m asking… did MLB decide I’m black based on my browsing history, place of birth in Orange NJ, and other stereotypes, or is everyone getting that ad?

I miss the Hebrew Home ads. That was before they were targeted. When you play an archived game, you get all the WFAN ads. Back in the day I used to love hearing familiar things like Pathmark or even… the Shop Rite Can-Can Sale.
The live spots they can’t change, Coupa Coupa Coupa. We installed Coupa where I work, it’s a been a joke. The owner wanted software so if one factory bought a 1/2 hp motor with a 3/4” shaft and 3-phase and it was $500 and never broke, and some other plant found one for $450 and it broke in six months, we’d know which one to buy. Coupa attempts to assign pretty much anything you can buy into commodity codes and then show you best price from the vendors you have onboarded. We’ve managed to onboard three in two years. The commodity code for electric motors is ridiculously broad, so you can’t compare important specs. It works fine if you’re ordering printer paper but it’s other wise useless.
So yeah, don’t buy what Suzyn is selling.
