I hate Cashman and Hal with a deep visceral revulsion.
I once had to watch the autopsy of an arson burn victim, as a type of rite of passage as a young ADA. They did it for amusement at the Coroner's Office.[ It was a different time.] I did not throw up, but I definitely had bile in my throat.
I had the same feeling of regurgitation, when the Cashman K was sent to me as a phone alert.

My grandchildren may never see the Yanks as WS Champs.

The headline on the Yanks FB page is "RE-SIGNED". At first, I thought it was pertaining to Judge so, mindless fool that I am, I clicked the link, my heart all a-flutter....

...but my heart promptly fell with a dull thud when I saw that "RE-SIGNED" was above a picture of Cashman.

I thought I might write some dumb joke about removing the hyphen so that the headline would read "RESIGNED" but, as Duque said, it's time for a drink.

I'll officially be a senior citizen when this contract is over, at which point I officially won't give a shit about the moron. But i guess i lie. I'll always give a shit.

Hal not only only does not care, but there's a good chance my original theory - that he hates the Yankees due to King George neglecting him for the team - is correct and he actively wants to stick it to us, the living manifestation of the Yankees' soul.

You could be right, 13bit, that it's all intentionally orchestrated by HAL. Something has not been right with this franchise since 2010. Someone pointed out that that's the year that King George kicked the bucket. Yes, and since then, it's been all, entirely, 100% about finances. Nothing about winning in there.

Have the Yankees (g u l p) disclosed the terms of the contact?

As I mentioned in the previous post there is definitely a vesting ineptitude clause that most of us here are already well aware of BUT I wonder if there are any other incentives baked into the deal . . .

Right, asshole. I hope he runs you down with it. And the whole time, the ticker underneath him kept listing the various deals that different teams have done this off-season. Anyone else would be embarrassed. What a self-centered little prick.

YES just reporting, in the midst of their interview with Cashman, that Judge is in Tampa tonight, but is going to be in San Diego tomorrow.
