We're doing a fantastic job, no matter what you think.
And Aaron Hicks will probably start in left field.
Well, Suzyn, I thank you...

Cashman,
" I was gambling with Hicks,
I took a little risk, Send lawyers, guns and money, dad, get me out of this.
I'm an innocent bystander Somehow I got stuck between a rock and a hard place.
I'm down on my luck
Send lawyers guns and money.
The shit has hit the fan."*

Joey Gallo came from the analytical arena.
Does Genius Cashman use a drill to pile through his brain? He certainly has a lot of cute lines for us.
All we care about is winning. Therein lies the difference between Cashman and the fan base. Preposterous that someone does their job so badly yet still keeps getting re-upped.
Say, remember when we ere told after the Rodon signing that something even bigger was brewing? It had to be true, because the jackals of sports media endorsed it. Good times, good times.
You will get Hicks as your LF-er this year and you will like it. Actually, you won’t like it. At all.
Hicks being Hicks, he'll get injured somehow and spend weeks--or months--on the IL. Of course, he will have to play first and get kind of hot with the bat before disaster strikes.
This franchise is completely insane now. I wonder if it will take 15 rounds of voting before the new multi-headed management team does anything at all.
Cashman hired Kamala Harris' first speechwriter.
As it pertains to the Yankees analytical staff, there is no Ghost in the Machine.
Think about this...the Yanks are still going to make a huge move for an outfielder...why? There's an outfielder who's a FA and would fit in the Yankee outfield and they haven't made a move for him...Ben Gamel...
ranger,
You forgot that Tim Locastro is still available.
I also see Dexter Fowler lurking.
HAL won't bring in any more expensive free agents. Cashman will go dumpster diving and bring in some schmuck to be a part time LF. Hicks will play LF until he gets hurt. Which won't take long. Then they will play the schmuck, who will get designated for assignment or benched after hitting .075 for two and a half months. Then they will play Cabrera in LF until he messes up and has a terrible defensive game, probably against the Red Sox. At that point, the trade deadline will loom and Cashman will begin the search for The Next Joey Gallo.
All too likely, Hammer. All too likely.
