With a classic 70s voiceover voice mix--compressed with hardly any low end. I remember coming down to the city from upstate to record radio spots for clients who would pay for NYC talent and recording. There was one studio I visited a lot, and the engineer was a master at that mix. It really cut through on an AM car radio. You can hear it on TV commercials of that era, as well.

I still love that sound. There was something so...urgent about it.
