Let me get this straight.

The Yankees - the 2024 Yankees, that is…

* Swept a 3-game series against the team with the best record in baseball.
* Scored 14 runs in one game, & 27 in the series.
* Won an extra-innings game … after blowing multiple leads.
* Got all 6 runs in the third game courtesy of a grand slam & a double (that is, a pair of extra base hits) by … DJ LeMahieu.
* Maintained a 1-run lead in a relatively uneventful 9th-inning pitched entirely by … Clay Holmes.

That’s what happened? Or am I in a coma?

I seem to recall a post about the Yankees going .500 after the break. As I said then, all they have to do is go 30-29 and they’d be a 90 win team. Well, there’s 52 games left, all they gotta do is go 25-27 to win 90. 30-22 gets them to 95 and I think they can do it
