Worst case scenario? Bah. Seven reasons why losing three in Boston wouldn't be the end of the world

FOR THE RECORD: WE WANT TO SWEEP THEM, NOT GET SWEPT. BUT... if everything falls apart, consider:

1. We'd still be two up on them.

2. It would likely mean a brief revival of Big Papi -- not the .359/40 HR Papi, but the .234/28 Papi --  which just prolongs their agony.

3. We'll have chewed up 6 games at Fenway.

4. We'll be pissed and less likely to hit our annual May complacency slump.

5. Holy crap. Did someone say it's only May?

6. They'll be less likely to make necessary changes (a catcher who can throw to 2B).

7. They'll fall in love with their own Sweet Caroline, magic-of-Boston bullshit -- which is always the best way to do them in.

That's is comforting.
