1. Mariano can't forever defy time.
2. A-Rod is recovering from his ( how many has it been now?) "N"th trip to the DL.
3. Jorge looks done and needs to stand up to it ( see Mantle, Mattingly, etc ).
4. Colon and Freddy are still pitching great and it is August 8th. Two more months of grind.
5. AJ was not worth $81 million and 55 years.
6. Derek continues to play like a star. But it is hot out there.
7. We are 2-10 vs. the Red Sox and look like we really can't beat them more often than that.
