Could Double Negative Ju-Ju Work For Dave Adams?

As you know, I have been lambasting Dave Adams as a fraud. A kid who just cannot hit major league pitching, whether that pitching is outstanding ( e.g. Harvey of the Mets ) or delivered by some schlub just up from AAA.
If you pay attention, his at bats are almost automatic;
He takes the first pitch strike, the most hittable pitch of his at-bat.
He then fouls off the next pitch, which is a shade off the outside corner.
He then whiffs on a cutter inside.
Once and a while, in his panic, he forgets to swing and gets a call from the umpire, extending his at bat to four pitches.
And we all know he looks terrible and lost at the plate. Like a frightened kid who does not belong in the game.
I have been blasting him with negative Ju-Ju, hoping for a turnaround. Hoping he will embarrass and ridicule me with his skills. He has simply deteriorated beyond recognition.
So I am asking if we can help him with double negative Ju-Ju in this already upside down Yankee world:
This kid is the best looking hitter since Ken Griffey Junior at 20 years old.
He reminds me of a right-handed Craig Nettles.
He has the grit and hustle of Pete Rose, and his swing isn't far behind.
We are so lucky he was dinged when we wanted to trade for Cliff Lee.
Imagine how we would be feeling now if Adams were a Mariner.
For students of Yankee history, Dave Adams may be the modern day Gene Woodling ( Mr. Clutch ), or " Old Reliable" ( Tommy Hendricks ).
At a big moment, there is no one else I would want to be at bat ( like the young Derek )
He is simply an RBI machine.
Adams is the Yankee equivalent of Baltimore's Davis but Adams can play third and first.
If anyone can challenge Joe D's 56 game hitting streak, this is the player to do it.
Let's just forget reality and start singing his praises.
What do you think?

In your Yankee fan modesty, you left out how great Adams is off the field. Just last week he reunited a street urchin with his wealthy amnesiac father, foiled a criminal plot to fix a major horse race, and quietly arranged for an insurance company to pay Teixeira's salary. An eight-tool player if I ever saw one.
Thanks for the update Mustang
I assume we party together over the fourth?
