"The silence depressed me." ~Sylvia Plath, The Bell Jar |
This morning I was watching Hot Stove on MLB network. About 25 minutes into the first hour (of two), hosts Matt Vasgerian (once of the Chiefs) and Harold Reynolds (once of one of two teams never to make the World Series) were interviewing Curtis Granderson. At the end of the interview, Matt says he'll miss John Sterling's home run call for Grandy...then laments to Harold that he wanted to pull one up to play on his show but MLB has scrubbed the Internet of Sterling calls...
Is this an early sign that The New York Yankees Radio Network is dropping John?

They'll come for your win warbles next, duque.
All recordings of John Sterling have been seized as evidence in the MLB action against Alex Rodriguez.
That's all we can say at this time. Thank you.
They can't do this. There's only one true superstar broadcaster of the decade. True superstar broadcaster of the millennium. You know who that is? The Rock will tell you who that is. That is the win-warblen' home run callin. Jeter Lover, Suzyn Fucker, strong than a bear, faster than a buck. The biggest thing to hit the lowe's broadcast booth because the Steinbrenners Suck!
