Love the tortured explanations for Cole being Not An Ace and giving up so many home runs. Kay actually said that it's a testament to today's hitters, their hitting Cole's 98 and 100mph pitches. I have to admit, I wondered if he was too big to last in the majors. He seemed to hurt himself just diving or jumping—you know, the way that some NFL players are so huge they damage themselves just by falling.
BUT...he seems to have solved his injury problems. Why is that? Yoga? Adjustments? Different workouts?
And why can't Stanton do something like that?
