Suzyn, I thank you, and thank you all...

Today, I wanna thank everyone on this blog who reads, rants, roils, regales and retches over the sad state of humanity and - of course - the New York effin' Yankees. You know who you are.

Listen: Hal will never spend the money. Cashman will never leave. Roger will never make the Hall. Donnie will never get a ring. Volpe will never hit, and Jeet will never be replaced. But every day, somebody here will give me cause to laugh - or grimace - and a reason to carry on.

I consider myself the luckiest fan on the face of the earth.

So I thank you, Suzyn, and one and all.

Look! What's that? The Abyss! Let's go! Last one in is a rotten egg!

Thanks, Maestro Duque and everybody here. I concur. This place means more to me than just some stinky old sports team. Where else could I announce that I just got married and then, less than a week later, got a kidney stone removed? Did I announce that yet? It was not my most pleasant day yesterday, but I can console myself that a whole team of medical people gathered around my anesthetized body and all were focused on the fiber optic tube with a laser beam on it that was going into my penis. I have probably never had so many people interested in my personal organ in my whole life. I would have been honored - and mortified - but I was knocked out. There is now a stent for the next 5 days and that is also not pleasant, but must be endured, just as the Yankee Braintrust must be endured. Or, as the Hirohito told his subjects in 1945 on the radio - the fist time most had heard his voice and he was trying to get them to peacefully accept surrender and occupation, "We must endure the unendurable."

Thankful for you all today, helping me keep what’s left of my sanity.

Hope you have a a peaceful and enjoyable day!

You see Bitty, there was a missed opportunity for a IIH IIF IIC get together - all of us gathered in the operating theater, seated high above your procedure behind single paned glass below, chit chatting about the ice cold hot stove, guzzling adult beverages from cute IV bags with handles and munching on salty bar room snacks shaped like capsules and pills - IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A BLAST !

Try having an endoscopy when you have known everyone in the room for several years. Then a week later have one of the nurses say they didn't recognize you with clothes on.

Still not as painful as a kidney stone.

PS HAL is still a turd. ...and bonehead and ca$hole are despicable sycophants at our expense.

Happy Thanksgiving one and all.

Oh, wait that's Christmas. The timing of the commercials confuses me. I 've already seen too much Santa.

This site and all of you are how I start every morning. A brief oasis of sanity and rational thought disguised as sanity and rational thought.

I would thank each and every one of you by name but the band is starting to play me off and there's a Target Christmas ad that needs showing.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

13B - Stone Breaker. I do the tincture but there's alcohol in it. I'm pretty sure it comes in capsule form. Started taking it a few years ago and only had one stone give me issues and, to be fair to the product, it was four months after I said, "I don't need to take this anymore. I haven't had a stone in years.'"

It doesn't seem like I've had a whole hell of a lot to be thankful for this year, but I guess I do. My wife is still here. My sister is still there, back in the USA (an excellent Chuck Berry song, too). I have not been attacked by goons from the AfD. I had a dream about playing football and diving for a pass that resulted in me diving out of bed, hitting my head on the nightstand, but the CT was clear. And all of you are still here, still know baseball better than Yankee management, and still make me laugh.

Plus, if I ever start having kidney stone issues, I now know about Stone Breaker. These things are gifts from heaven. Thank you all, gentlemen.

Boone is still an idiot.

Kidney stones are no joke.

Grateful for all of you amidst the madness of the unholy trinity who have a chokehold of mediocrity on our beloved and maddening Yankees.

What a way to start the day: marriage with a side of stones!
