He should've been fired at least seven years ago, but calling a run "a point" is worth a man's job.

Perhaps he is managing the wrong sport. Maybe basketball is his thing. He once got hurt playing basketball, right?
He should snap at Genius Cashman who brought in stiffs to work around Judge.
And once again, in a big spot, Boone sends a pinch hitter to bat for Jones. The pinch hitter is batting .200. Jones .250. The pitcher was right handed, It was a desperate moment where putting the ball in play can win the game. AND the pinch hitter struck out. Seven times out of eight ( I've been counting) Boone has achieved nothing ( i.e. a strike out ) by pinch hitting for Jones ( usually it is Rosario), and he still perseveres in the act. What a dolt. But he is right, " We have to score some points.."
Somedays I think that you may be that Nixon, Stang.
To quote myself from about a bazillion hours ago:
The previous two extra innings games were the worst managed few innings of “free baseball” that I have ever witnessed.
There is no need to go back and lay out the details here as that would be as damaging to my brain as rewatching the game in a closed garage with my car running.
Some sports gambling entity should launch a betting category exclusively for our Boone-Based Yankees called the ‘Over "Six Feet" Under’
I’d advise everyone to rewatch the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory asap.
It will act as a mental enema . . .
He can't hardly wait to get Jones out of there. Doesn't matter if Jones is hitting. Doesn't matter what Jones did that game, or in recent games.
