Yankeetorial: "The surgery went exactly as we planned?"

That's what Dr. Marc J. Philippon, Arod's orthopedic hip surgeon, told reporters yesterday in a conference call from Vail, Colo.

Firstoff: Vail, Colorado? WTF? Arod got cut by a frickin' ski bum?

Secondly: "Exactly as planned?" WTF? Is he saying that he didn't accidentally sew some discarded buckle from his ski boots into Arod's open incision, while he was staring across the operating table at the ample breasts of his 21-year-old ski bunny nurse?

Thirdly: Dr. Foggy Goggles goes to say: “There were no surprises. Exactly what we prepared for was there. The labrum was repaired and the cartilage was stabilized.” Yeah, right. How many head injuries has this ski quack had? How many trees has he hit head on? How much time spent in the lodge? Did he finish up fast and get a few runs in yesterday? Did anybody ask him that?

Vail, Colorado? What happened to the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania? That's not good enough? Yeesh.

I am looking forward to a daily sidebar section on A-rod's recuperation.

Every day we should share with our readers how many aspirin he took, how much percocet, what he ate, what he refected on his food service tray, how many baby steps he took, who he boinked on the nursing staff, when he drank each of his required 8 glasses of water.....

How can we live without hearing about A-Rod's efforts and hard work to battle back into the line-up, so he can flop in the playoff round?

Please , please, don't let us miss a day of useless informationon old wax face.

Also, will Madge be visiting?

Gracias.

I visited A-Rod at the clinic yesterday. He said to tell everyone hi. His spirits are good, considering, and he's off the morphine already. He said the medicine was "binding."
